I take photos to keep memories close. To help remember moments that might be fleeting but were so meaningful.
When I was younger I had two grandparents that had Alzheimer's. Memories became precious. The photos we had were a comfort from the sense of loss.
For me, photographing weddings is preserving your legacy. It's capturing your unique story in a personal way so it will be held close to the heart. Cherished, for the emotions that the photographs evoke, the memories they bring to mind, and the connectedness of future generations.
In the everyday, the photos are your phone's background that makes you smile and the framed prints that make your heart soar. It's the anniversary tradition of looking through your photo book and reliving the joy and shared moments with those you love. Full of emotion, memories, connection, happiness and love - your photo story is authentically you.
Since I started photographing weddings in 2010, one thing is constant, the most memorable photos are the most real. I want to get to know you, discover your love language and photograph your wedding day as honestly as I can. As a friend, this is what I would want for you. As your photographer, this is how I want to contribute to your love story.
